The Waltham Philharmonic Orchestra is a non-profit, tax-

exempt organization dedicated to performing baroque,

classic, romantic, and contemporary music of symphonic

literature. It endeavors to meet the cultural, educational,

and social needs of the greater Waltham area. The

orchestra provides a creative outlet for its members who

love to learn, perform, and enjoy the orchestral repertory,

but do not depend on it for their livelihood. Members,

who give freely of their time, come from all walks of life

and share a common love of performing great music from

composers of the past and present. The orchestra enhances

the cultural life of the communities it serves by “giving

back” to them performances in which the audience can

enjoy and learn, in exchange for their local support. The

Orchestra rehearses on Mondays from Sept. through May at

the Clark Government Center, 119 School St. in Waltham.
