Celebrating over 35 years in Waltham!

With roots in the deli and bakery businesses

of Naples, Italy, Domenic Maione opened

Domenic’s Italian Bakery & Deli in 1979.

Today, Ciro, a third-generation baker and

butcher, carries on the family tradition of

serving tasty, authentic Neapolitan and

Italian-American pre-made and made-to-

order dishes. Ciro does not only assemble

the ingredients, he cooks up a storm in the

kitchen and makes his famous ciabatta bread

from scratch, which has been described as

“life-changing!” Ciro’s mom, Enza, also works

there, baking and helping out at the counter.

In addition to savory sandwiches and

panini, Domenic’s also serves creative pasta

dishes, gnocchi, pizza, soups—and if you still

have room, freshly baked cookies and cannoli.

Deli and Catering menus can be found online,

as well as a download for an iPhone app, and

a sign-up for an RSS feed of weekly specials,

which are sure to delight and surprise.

“The freshness of the ingredients conspires

to give you a sandwich that’s bursting with

flavor and freshness ensconced in a crusty,

yummy, cave of bread...” -
