Come visit Gore Place and our newly renovated
1793 carriage house! Now open year-round, the
carriage house offers a perfect setting for a wide
variety of corporate and special events. We’ve fully
restored its 1793 rustic New England character while
also adding modern amenities, including central
air and Wi-Fi! Set on 50 acres of land including
sweeping lawns, a seasonal 50’x80’ tent, and a farm
selling our local produce, Gore Place is an oasis of
peace in our busy urban landscape. Inquire today to

Gore Place also includes an elegantly furnished
mansion, considered to be the most significant
Federal period mansion in New England. Open
year-round, the mansion is shown by guided tour
and offers a full calendar of special events including
the popular Sheepshearing Festival, concerts,
family activities, exhibits, special themed tours, and
seasonal teas.
Gore Place is located on Gore Street, just off Route
20 on the Waltham/Watertown line, and is easily
accessible from both the Mass Pike and Route 128.

Gustazo is one of the very few authentic
Cuban restaurants in the Boston area.
Located in the very center of Waltham
overlooking the Waltham Common, this
chef-owned restaurant offers traditional
Cuban dishes made daily from scratch with
the best available locally sourced products.
During lunch hours the restaurant offers a
wide array of hot pressed sandwiches such
as the Pan con Lechon, Vaca Frita, and
the famous Cubano sandwich, as well as
a large selection of entree salads, soups,
and Empanadas. During dinner hours,
diners can enjoy from a tapas-style menu
which includes signature dishes such as
the Slow Roasted Pork, Ropa Vieja, Guava-
glazed Pork Ribs, Shrimp al Ajillo, and
